Three things. That's today.
People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are.
You have to pick carefully. I'm actually as proud of the things we haven't done as the things I have done.
Steve Jobs, Apple WWDC, 1997You don't have a discipline problem. You have a list with no limit: an overdue pile, hours spent sorting, and a task manager that has become another job.
That's what Lessential is built for: to understand the tasks that matter most to you and keep you focused there. For good.

Known as the Pareto Principle. Most of your to-do list sits in the other 80%. Lessential finds your 20% and keeps you on it.
Start Your Free TrialSwitching task managers is the part everyone dreads. Upload a CSV or paste your list, and Lessential moves it over and sorts it for you. You just pick your three Bets.
Never worry about switching again. We move your list. You focus on your goals.

The average user saves 10 hours per week in the first 30 days.
Every task that isn't a Signal goes to Noise, and Noise stays quiet. You see a count, not a pile. Nothing fights for your attention while you work on what matters.
When you do look, each task becomes one of three things: drop it, delegate it, or batch it.
Pick the time that suits you: one hour a day or half a day a week. That's when you clear your Noise in one go. The rest of your hours stay with the goals you set.

When I started my first business, I wore every hat. Building the product, selling, hiring, looking after customers.
I tried task manager after task manager. Some were built for big teams, with too many features. The rest were simple lists that just kept growing. None of them gave me a clear direction.
For weeks, I avoided a marketing bottleneck that was holding back our growth. It was outside my comfort zone, so I kept ticking off easier tasks instead. A month later I saw what that had cost the business. I felt lost, and I could see the whole business was at risk.
I was getting things done. I just wasn't moving forward.
Then I started noticing it in the people around me. Founders. People about to start something. Content creators. Designers. Marathoners training for a race. Different goals, same problem: so much to do, and no clear sense of what mattered most. I wasn't the only one who felt lost.
That's when I decided to build Lessential. Not to be another task manager, but to help people change the way they think about their goals and their time.

You put so much effort into your work. Shouldn't your to-do list point that effort at what counts?
